There was a time, and I'm ashamed

When I felt love, and happiness

I thought, I'll never feel the pain

In our little, secret, universe.

I gave you all and even more

Until I couldn't offer something new

You were the center of my life, my core

My only love, I thought you knew.

And when I had no more to give

Because I spent my soul in our story

You left our universe, I can't believe

Without a notice, I didn't worry.

And you were searching for new thrills,

For things I never had or will

I didn't realise back then, I had no fears

I can't give more then me and what I fell.

I'll stand by you, with my deplited soul

And you can get what you deserve from anyone

You will remain my compass, my north pole

The days will pass and will I be the one?
